Science to Practice: SPR 120 Second Summaries now featured on the SPR YouTube Channel

By Shane Jimerson posted 09-24-2020 09:12

School Psychology Review is now featuring videos (120 Second Summaries) highlighting key questions, key findings, and key implications of articles published in SPR. All authors who have published articles in SPR are invited to prepare a 120 Second Summary using the SPR template and guidelines. These efforts are intended to further disseminate the high-quality scholarship published in SPR and also facilitate bringing this science to practice! #Science2Practice All are encouraged to subscribe to to receive updates when new videos are posted.

Wouldn't it be great if the author just explained the key points of their research, ... you know, highlight the "so what,"... in like 2 minutes?

Faculty: True story, a video summary would be excellent ... then we could read the article if we wanted more details. What a great way to highlight the importance of our scholarship.

Student: I know, right!! Seriously, using engaging technology to advance science and practice ... that would be so awesome!

The SPR Social Media team has brought this fantasy to reality = SPR 120 Second Summaries!
