  • 2016 GW/NASP Public Policy Institute Scholarship Opportunities

Registration is now open for NASP and George Washington University’s 2016 Public Policy Institute (PPI)! This year’s theme is “Education as a Civil Right for All: Implications for Public Policy”.

There are two scholarship opportunities available to graduate students this year:

Graduate Student Assistant Scholarship: NASP annually offers two scholarships to school psychology graduate students who have a strong interest in attending the institute, a desire to advocate for school psychology, and are willing and able to volunteer prior to and during the institute in exchange for a complimentary registration. All travel expenses are the responsibility of the graduate student assistant. This scholarship is for a complimentary registration only. The deadline for submitting this application is April 20, 2016.

Graduate Student Advocacy in Action Scholarship: One PPI registration tuition reimbursement at the early-bird member registration rate will be available to a graduate student who is currently engaged in advocacy activities and is looking to expand their skill set. All travel expenses are the responsibility of the graduate student. Students interested in this scholarship must submit evidence of their advocacy work, as outlined in the Graduate Student Advocacy in Action Scholarship Application. The recipient will be randomly selected from the pool of completed eligible applications. The deadline for submitting this application is April 20, 2016.
