Events in the Life of a Mississippi School Psychologist
Hi.

My name is Carlen Henington.  I am a school psychology faculty member at Mississippi State University. For the past 6 years, I have served as the Delegate from Mississippi and, for 2 years, as the Delegate Representative for the Southeastern Region in NASP.

My plan, as suggested by someone in an Interest Group meeting at the NASP Convention in San Francisco, is to provide updates (hopefully, regularly) on my activities, challenges, and rewards in my work as a school psychologist.  So, here goes ....

Here I am at Delegate Assembly (DA).  It is an exciting day for us as we examine position papers on Social Promotion & Retention.  This is my last DA and I will miss this very rewarding experience.  I highly recommend that my colleagues seek out opportunities to serve either at the state level in your state association or at the national level in NASP.  I have made many friends & maintained contact with colleagues through my work with NASP.  The new Communities on the website is a fantastic tool.
